Last night we handed Dublin Bus our petition from 2,000 signatures from right across the Clondalkin, Rathcoole and Newcastle area.We had a very lively demonstration outside the library to show Dublin Bus how angry people are at their proposals. I asked officials from Dublin Bus would they give a firm commitment that their proposed cost cutting measures would be rescinded. Dublin Bus didn’t give a commitment. DB Management said decisions on their proposals will be made public in the next 2 to three months.The Community will be watching. Well done to all whom collected the petitions and came to the demonstration.
